Jenna Eldred, LMHC

Jenna earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU. Her clinical experience includes providing individual therapy in a private practice setting to clients from diverse backgrounds, each working toward a wide range of personal goals. As a therapist, Jenna focuses on empowering clients to explore the origins of their behaviors and emotional patterns. She believes that approaching life’s challenges with curiosity and self-compassion can foster lasting, meaningful change.

While Jenna grounds her practice in relational and psychodynamic frameworks, she values an integrative approach in which she collaborates with her clients to tailor a plan that fits their individual needs.

In the first few sessions, she prioritizes building rapport and creating a space that feels safe for clients to show up authentically. Jenna seeks to foster a supportive environment where clients can be vulnerable throughout their journey of self-exploration and acceptance. She deeply believes in the healing power of human connection—and the importance of shared laughter along the way.

Her areas of interest and expertise include generalized and social anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, familial dynamics, disordered eating, reframing maladaptive thought patterns, and more. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and feedback-oriented, designed to create a space that feels both safe and genuinely productive. Above all, Jenna wants her clients to feel heard, validated, and empowered to make meaningful changes both during and beyond the course of therapy.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with friends, and exploring new places. As a California native, she enjoys soaking up all that the city has to offer while making the East Coast feel like home.
